It's really weird. When I saw the poster, and read what it was about, I thought "this looks like fun!" Especially seeing Josh Hartnett on screen (I liked Lucky Number Slevin).
Then I watched the trailer. Egad.
It looks stupid to me. Not the idea...but the execution, how they are appearing to do it, what they think funny is. I guess I'm just not in Kevin Hart's target audience because I don't get his funny. And Travolta's delivery is even worse.
It's telling that I never even heard of this movie before it was released. It dropped on Amazon Prime quietly, studio obviously didn't want to piss money away on promotion and advertising for this dog.

His stand up is pretty funny. His film career is the sort of phenomena that Chris Rock parodied in the criminally overlooked Top 5
